The library will be closed today, Nov. 13, due to problems with our heating. We thank you for your understanding, and hope you have a good day.
Interested in a volunteer opportunity at the library?
We are looking for volunteers of all ages (children and adults!) to help us “Put the Beds to Rest” on Saturday, November 16, from 1-3 p.m. This will be outside in the library’s front gardens. Come dressed for a mess! See flyer for more details.
Due to unforeseen technical issues, the library has to push back its grand reopening to Friday, October 18. Our hours of operations for that day will be 9 a.m to 5 p.m. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we promise the changes will be worth the wait!
In addition to the remodel, we are excited to announce that all Juvenile materials will now be FINE FREE, effective from the date we closed, Thursday, October 3. All fines on Juvenile materials from that date forward will be waived. This does not include Young Adult or Adult materials, and it does not include previous fines on Juvenile materials.
Attention patrons! Due to the Youth Services Department remodel, the library will be closed from Thursday, October 3 through Tuesday, October 15, 2019. The library will reopen at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2019.
The exterior book drop will still be open to return books during this time and will be cleared daily. If you placed a book on hold and it comes in, it will be available when we reopen, or you may request a different library as the pick-up location if you need it during the time we are closed.
With a few exceptions, the meeting room and conference room will still be open to groups who reserved it in advance.
We apologize for any inconvenience!
